Cortney Holles

Cortney Holles is a Teaching Associate Professor in LAIS who has taught NHV since 2004 and loves watching the course evolve as students and faculty engage with the big questions it presents. She began her education with a brief stint as a pre-med major, following her love of math and science, then quickly transferred to her other love—reading—and became an English major. She is now studying her vocational love of teaching as she pursues a doctorate in education, researching college readiness and curriculum. She received her Master of Arts in English from University of Northern Colorado and shortly after began teaching at Mines, a perfect fit for both sides of her brain. Her courses at Mines also include the Science Communication series and Community Engagement Through Service Learning.
