Macmillan Learning Accessibility
Macmillan Learning strives to ensure equal access to all products across diverse user needs and circumstances. Accessibility at Macmillan Learning is measured using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Level A and AA Version 2.1, as managed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) WCAG guidelines are referenced in the following standards:
- 29 U.S.C. 794d (more commonly known as Section 508)
- UK Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018
- EU Directive on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of the public sector bodies 2016
- Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services (AS EN 301 549:2020)
- New Zealand Government Web Standards.

European Union Accessibility Act 2025
In June of 2025, the European Union Accessibility Act went into effect. This Act mandates that products and services offered in the EU meet compliance standards including EN 301 549 and the associated technical standard, WCAG 2.1 AA.
