Pre-built course offers units that support a learning arc. Easy-to-assign units on topics like critical reading, the
writing process, research, grammar, style, and mechanics each include a pre-test, multimedia instruction, and a post-test that assesses what students have learned about that particular topic.. Many units include brief, accessible videos that illustrate the concepts at hand.

Diagnostics that generate an informed study plan. Eight diagnostics are available to identify areas of strength and areas for improvement on topics related to grammar and reading. Once completed, the diagnostics generate a Student Study Plan that students can complete on their own to target practice and instruction in areas identified as needing improvement.

Writing Tools, developed in partnership with teachers of writing from all over the United States and informed by leading scholars’ work on writer development, put student writers and their writing at the center of your course and personalize the writing process for each writer on your roster.

A library of twenty-five reading selections with comprehension quizzes allow instructors to assign a range of classic and contemporary readings directly from Achieve for Readers and Writers. Each reading includes a Lexile® measure to help instructors connect students with the right level of challenge.
