“This is a phenomenal chapter. It is by far the best presentation of the materials that I have seen in my 15 years of teaching introductory chemistry.” – Marguerite Benko, Ivy Tech College
“I was very impressed with the writing style of the author. I found the whole chapter very ‘readable’ to the average student. I believe they would be able to read and understand the concepts without assistance.” – Lynda Peebles, Texas Woman’s University - Denton
“The writing is beautifully clear. I wish I had as nice a textbook as this when I was in school nearly 40 years ago. Any students with the motivation to learn chemistry would be very successful in their endeavor using this textbook.” – William Williams, Hudson Valley Community College
“I am really impressed by the video library collection which will be great help for my students struggling in chemistry.” – Sharadha Sambasivan, Suffolk County Community College – Ammerman
“The text is very readable for someone with no chemistry background and excellent explanations.” – Molly Anderson, Baker University – Baldwin City
“I like the idea of having these upfront videos for each section. They are relatively short and speak to the entire concept presented in their respective sections. For students who prefer to have the video alternative, I think it is a great way to have the students dip their feet into the various topics. They can get a good ‘feel’ for what the section topic entails and then further their understanding by reading the chapter followed by problem solving. A very nice way to present the topics.” – Matt Gnezda, Ivy Tech College
“The problems are comprehensive and appropriate for the material and the level of the student. I like that there are a few cumulative questions to challenge the stronger students.” – Brian Bartlett, Central New Mexico Community College
